Cozy place to hang out, great food, friendly staff and free wifi. They have a meeting room upstairs if you need one. I'm not a local resident but I can bet it's one of the best restaurants in town. The restaurant is owned by a fishing company so you know they will have the best and freshest fishes. Most of the menu are local specialties from Ambon and Manado.

One of the more interesting restaurants I have experienced in Indonesia. First of all the tuna in all its expression is delicious. I had the tuna sate and the yellow belly tuna. Both were excellent, however the sate skewers were quite small although with good flavor. The yellow belly was the star, served with cassava wedges and a sort of vegetable relish with crunchy bits. It matched to a tee the perfectly cooked yellow belly, firm but tender and moist. I had gandaria known as plum mango in English a hitherto unknown fruit for me. It has an interesting texture, flavor part passion fruit, part mango with a subtle hint of durian. I couldn't have just one but two. The young server spoke better English than is the norm, attentive and anxious to respond to queries ie what is a gandaria? I don't recall having it before. The start of a beautiful friendship ie gandaria. The location was within walking distance of my hotel eg Manise. But as it was cheek by jowl to a number of repair shops, with tons of idle but harmless lads smoking kratek I did not rate the atmosphere that highly. I wish I could stay longer in Ambon to go down the list of their menu. Of course tuna, chopped, cubed, diced, raw, grilled, shredded, fried, some very interesting Ambon refreshments, etc. A real find! If I could only find Kole Kole restaurant in my hometown!
